PRECISION NEUROMUSCULAR TECHNIQUE
PNMT uses diagnostic muscle testing to find the area of dysfuntion or pain and precise treatment to address the problem. Treatments will usually be a combination of myofacial, trigger-point, and pin-and-stretch techniques. Scientific testing in combination with time-tested treatments yields stellar results.
PRENATAL & POSTNATAL MASSAGE
Massage is both effective and safe, prenatally and during postpartum periods of women’s pregnancies. Specific techniques can reduce pregnancy discomforts and concerns and enhance the physiological and emotional well-being of both mother and fetus. In the postpartum period, specialized techniques re-balance structure, physiology, and emotions of the new mother and may help her to bond with and care for her infant.
SOFT TISSUE RELEASE
STR is a technique used by athletes worldwide, both professional and amateur. It addresses the larger muscle groups using a “pin and stretch” technique that allows the therapist to work the muscles in increments. This is exactly what it sounds like. The therapist will pin the muscle down near a joint using fingers or their entire hand and hold it while using the other to flex or extend the joint.
Swedish massage is a vigorous system of treatment designed to energize the body by stimulating circulation. Five basic strokes, all flowing toward the heart, are used to manipulate the soft tissues of the body. The many benefits of Swedish massage may include generalized relaxation, boosting the immune system, and improved circulation, which may speed healing and reduce swelling from injury.
DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
The muscles must be relaxed in order to effectively perform deep-tissue massage, otherwise, tight surface muscles prevent the practitioner from reaching deeper musculature so generally, deep tissue massage is integrated with other types of massage. It helps with chronic muscular pain and injury rehabilitation and reduces inflammation-related pain caused by arthritis and tendonitis.
